Admissions

Getting In Is Simpler Than You Think.

We have made the admissions process as clear and low-stress as possible. Five straightforward steps stand between you and a stable, sober home in Maryland.

The Process

Five Steps to Your New Home.

01

Call or Reach Out

Contact us by phone or through our inquiry form. A team member will respond promptly — usually within a few hours. There is no obligation and no pressure.

02

Initial Assessment

We will have a brief conversation to understand your situation, recovery history, and what you are looking for. This helps us determine if ACV Residences is the right fit.

03

Tour the Home

If it looks like a good match, we will invite you to visit one of our Maryland residences. See the space, meet current residents, and ask any questions you have.

04

Complete Intake

Once you decide to move forward, we will walk you through the intake paperwork, house agreement, and financial arrangements. We keep it straightforward.

05

Move In

Welcome home. Your case manager will meet with you on day one to review your recovery plan, introduce you to the community, and help you settle in.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long can I stay at ACV Residences?

There is no fixed length of stay. Most residents remain between 6 and 18 months. We work with each person individually based on their recovery progress and goals.

Do you accept referrals from treatment centers or courts?

Yes. We work closely with outpatient programs, inpatient facilities, drug courts, and social service agencies throughout Maryland. Referrals are welcome.

What are the program fees?

Fees are charged weekly and vary by room type. We are transparent about costs from the first conversation. Limited financial assistance may be available — ask us about it.

Can I have visitors?

Yes, within house guidelines. Visitors are welcome during designated hours. We ask that all guests respect the sober environment of the home.

What if I relapse?

Our first priority is your safety. We handle each situation individually and compassionately. In some cases, a brief return to treatment followed by re-entry is the right path.
